Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0: A Street Legal Race Car

Sometimes a regular old sports car just won't cut it. When you want the best of the best in what the finest luxury sports cars have to offer, driving away in a car that everyone else has isn't going to be enough.  No, serious drivers want more power, more performance, more agility and more style. Of course, serious drivers know they'll only get this from their Philadelphia Porsche 911 dealer. The Porsche 911 has always been an icon in the sports car segment and has earned its famed spot among the most desirable performance cars in the world. But the German car manufacturer has just made the 911 an even greater contender with the release of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0.  Yes, it has a long name, but it has an even longer list of specs.  Read and learn my friends.

The all new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is the closest you're going to get to street legal race car from your Philly Porsche dealership. With 500-hp under the hood peaking at 8,250 rpm, this massive monster will run you 0-60mph in just under 4 seconds (3.8 seconds to be exact.)  The limited edition 911 pairs this colossal engine with a slew of weight optimizations that include a lightweight kit complete with carbon fiber fenders, bucket seats and even weight optimized carpeting. You read that correctly: no detail goes unturned.

Of course, the 911 GT3 RS also looks the part. The car comes with signature grey and red racing stripes, a massive rear spoiler, central twin exhausts, and enough perceived speed in the aerodynamic styling to make you think it's speeding at a standstill.

If you want to pick up one of these limited edition 911 GT3 RS 4.0's, you'll need an extra $185,000 lying around and a close relationship with your local Philadelphia Porsche 911 dealer. Only 600 of these bad boys will be produced so it's better to start putting the feelers out there soon.  I mean, it's not often you can tell people you drive a race car to work.
